Run Social Awareness, Korindo Donates The Orphans

JAKARTA - Caring for others has been this corporate priority in CSR Program of Caring for Orphans. The program was carried out in Pondok Taruna Orphanage, Cipayung, East Jakarta on Saturday (5/8). In the orphanage was founded in 1993 by Andreas Susianto, there are currently 120 orphans from age 1.5 months to 23 year old living in the orphanage.
This CSR program was carried out as a form of social awareness of Korindo Group to the community.
General Manager of Corporate HRD of Korindo Group, J. Andre Roberto R hoped that the donation could be beneficial for the orphans and he also asked the people to pray for Korindo to keep growing and bring benefits for the society and Indonesia.
"This CSR program and donation is part of our commitment as a company which has been part of the people's live in Jakarta, particularly for the orphans. We donate some basic needs for the residents in Pondok Taruna Orphanage," he said at the orphanage which located in Tugu road no 7, Cilangkap, Cipayung, East Jakarta on Saturday (5/8).
Andre, along with the General Manager of GA Korindo Grup, Kyungtai Tak, handed over the donation to the representative of Pondok Taruna Orphanage, Mariana Tehupeiory, on behalf of the head of the orphanage, Andre Susianto.
She expressed her gratitude to Korindo Group for its concern and donation to Pondok Taruna Orphanage.
"I'm on behalf of the management and all the children in this orphanage, would like to say thank you to the management of Korindo Group for the donation. I hope Korindo Group can keep growing and progress," she said.
The donation was in form of 1,280 kg of rice, 100 kg of sugar, 100 kg of flour, 120 packages of toiletries, and 6 boxes of laundry soap. The event was also attended and witnessed by the management of Korindo Group and Pondok Taruna Orphanage.
