JAKARTA - The leader of Islamic Defenders Front (FPI), Habib Rizieq Shihab will return to Indonesia on August 15.
Rizieq's return plan was delivered directly by his lawyer, Kapitra Ampera.
"August 15. We want to pick up there and we just follow the process," he said in Jakarta Police office, Jakarta on Wednesday (2/8).
Kapitra admitted that Rizieq plans to attend the 19th FPI Anniversary. With the intention of returning to Indonesia, he asserted Rizieq ready to solve all the problems that ensnare him.
"From the first, the problem is the people who are not ready yet, if there is something that injures the justice, the people can not accept it, but if there is a guarantee of justice it is sacred and not interfered with the interests, there is no mistake," he said.
Kapitra hopes that Rizieq's return to Indonesia can be a momentum for the police to solve the problems based on justice.
Meanwhile Jakarta Police welcomes for Rizieq's returns plan.
"We see later hopefully this is not just a discourse," said Head of Public Relations Jakarta Police, Police Commissioner Argo Yuwono.
He hopes Rizieq can immediately undergo examination related cases that are currently handled Jakarta Police.
