DEPOK - It feels good to see greed of hundreds street sweepers enjoying Nasi Uduk Kambing when fast breaking. That's what was felt in event 'Eat With 300 Depok Street Sweepers' which was held by Inisiatif Zakat Indonesia (IZI) on Sunday (11/6).
As is known, among the eight conditions of the recipient of zakat (Asnaf) one of them is the orphans. They have jobs to fulfill the necessities of life, but they are not sufficient. Especially when they are married, obviously not enough to meet the needs of everyday life. Surely this is obligation of amil zakat to meet its needs.
On that basis, IZI organize this activities as well as compensation with 300 Depok street sweeper. This activity is guided by famous chef Ragil Imam Wibowo or familiarly called Chef Ragil is also attended by Mayor of Depok, Idris Abdul Shomad.
"If necessary, in the future we are synergizing for some of our programs that would be run with IZI," said Idris in front of 300 street sweepers in Cinere Grand Mosque, Depok City, Sunday (11/6).

President Director of IZI, Wildhan Dewayana responded positively Depok Mayor's statement on the synergy of this joint social program. According to him, IZI as a national amil zakat institution feels obliged to synergize with any party to meet the needs of the dhuafa.
"We feel obliged to synergize with any party to meet the needs of the poor throughout Indonesia because, given the high rate of poverty in Indonesia, it is our duty to solve this problem," Wildhan explained.
This kind of gathering event besides inviting street sweepers, also present orphans and orphans in Depok City.
