JAKARTA - Not easy to form and build a chorus of children to be qualified. Needs consistent support from all parties. The trainer, child and most importantly the support from parents.

"The most important thing is support of parents, they have to commit to bring the child to practice and the rest of course is persevering to practice," said Purwa Caraka Music Studio (PCMS) Children Choir, Jessica Fedora Amadea in Jakarta, Thursday (8/6).

And result from full support of parents, now ushered 23 members of PCMS Children Choir goes to US to meet the official invitation of Distinguished Concerts International New York (DCINY) to perform at Isaac Stern Auditorium, Carnegie Hall, New York, US on June, 17 2017.

Departing to US, PCMS Children Choir brings a tough challenge of having to sing a new composition of Alberto Grau's work titled 'La Avispa Brava' were there are 11 subtitles and in Spanish lyrics.

"The composition of the new song certainly without reference. It's also for the first time sung in public. Not only that, this is also for the first time the organizers of concert select children choir group from Asia. And we never send a video sample of our performance. Those find out for themselves," said Aditya Purwa Putra, Project Officer of PCMS Children Choir.

DCINY, continued Adit, said PCMS Children Choir meets the need for treble voice alignment with the composition of Alberto Grau's latest song.

In writing, PCMS Children Choir was officially invited from early January 2017 to participate in a World Premiere show featuring the composition of Alberto Grau's latest song, 'La Avispa Brava' in DCINY Concert Series, New York with guest conductor Maria Guinand.

"Jonathan Griffith as Artistic Director and Principal Conductor DCINY praised the high level of quality of PCMS Children Choir who once recorded outstanding achievements, one of them at the A Voyage Of Songs Festival in Zhuhai, China," said this eldest son of pianist Purwa Caraka.

In DCINY press release, Jonathan Griffin told PCMS Children Choir recived this invitation because of the quality and high level of musicianship demonstrated by the singer as well as the execeptional quality of their audition video.

"This is an event of extreme pride for everybody and deserving of the community's recognition and support," Griffin said.
