JAKARTA - Jakarta Police investigators set the suspect's status against the leader of Islamic Defenders Front (FPI), Rizieq Shihab (HRS) regarding the alleged spreading of pornographic conversations and photos with Firza Husein.
"Investigators are increasing status of witnesses into suspects against HRS," said Head of Public Relations Jakarta Police, Raden Argo Yuwono in Jakarta, Monday (29/5).
Argo explained that the investigator from Special Criminal Investigation Directorate of Jakarta Police immediately conducted a case handling of suspected cases of pornography which dragged Rizieq with Firza Husein.
Argo said police had sufficient evidence of court proceeds to raise Rizieq's status as a suspect.
"Surely the investigators have obtained some evidence such as chat and mobile phone," said Argo.
Previously, the police had set a suspect against Firza over alleged dissemination of conversations and vulgar photos involving Rizieq Syihab on Tuesday (16/5) night.
Police ensnare Firza with Article 4 paragraph 1 juncto Article 29 and or Article 6 juncto Article 32 and or Article 8 juncto Article 34 of Law RI Number 44 Year 2008 concerning pornography of prison threat over five years.
Currently, the investigator has not reviewed Rizieq since he is still in Saudi Arabia.
