JAKARTA - Long enough did not appear, the sixth president of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) present in public on Friday (20/5) night.
In front of the audience who attended Indonesian Most Admired Companies (IMACO) event, SBY asked all parties to keep maintaining fraternity among fellow children of the nation.
"I know under the surface there is something moves, let's stop it together. If we are compact, the leaders have leadership, people will in harmony," said SBY at event which held by Warta Ekonomi.
He also invites all parties to help President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) continue to maintain harmony and brotherhood.
"We help the president, help our leaders, help our government, invite everyone to do something to keep the friendship, harmony and harmony of all of us together," said SBY.
He saw, the power of this nation is unity, togetherness, brotherhood and cohesiveness. Indonesia is destined to be a pluralistic nation, so all parties must take care of the pluralism.
"Unity in diversity not to be taken for granted, must be cared for all the time. Whoever, formal leaders, informal leaders in the country, should be concerned and sensitive, do something to maintain harmony and brotherhood," he continued.
Man who also Chairman of Democratic Party is convinced Indonesian people can knit back brotherhood and community harmony.
"In the past, I have been working with Poso and Ambon communal conflicts and it needs five years to resolve conflict, and not the reconciliation process. But I still believe we can overcome what we are facing now," he said.
SBY asserted if the people in harmony, vision of Indonesia Gold 2045 can be realized.
