JAKARTA - Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishubtrans) did not dismiss the parking conditions in RPTRA Kalijodo which began to be mastered by thugs. In fact, people who want to park their vehicles are asked to pay twice from normal price.
Deputy Head of Jakarta Transportation Agency, Sigit Wijatmoko said that thugs who harass Kalijodo are the men of former Kalijodo thugs, Daeng Azis and Daeng Jamal.
"The thugs try to enter and arrange parking in Kalijodo area," said Sigit when confirmed, Monday (24/7).
Even so, Sigit does not know why the Electronic Parking Tariff (TPE) is not working. Related to this even he will coordinate and ask Jakarta Parking Unit why the machine can not be used.
"Whereas some time ago the operation of thugs eradication was done, I also do not know why they are back again," complained Sigit about number of thugs in Kalijodo.
He also plans to perform similar operations to displace and drive out thugs in ??area. The activity will be done on April 25, 2017 by deploying police and TNI personnel.
In addition, he said, in order to avoid and displace thugs in Kalijodo, it will implement a new system for parking in Kalijodo. Later the parking will be used gate system, such as in IRTI and malls. The gate will be installed two, in the south of Tubagus Angke Road, and the northern part of Teluk Gong Road.
Including the parking system, he said, this coordination is entering the maturation system, one of which determines the parking tariff. Later parking at RPTRA Kalijodo will not use TPE but the gate with hourly rate, which is Rp2.000 for motorcycles, Rp5.000 for cars, and Rp8.000 for trucks and buses.
"Later for the first 15 minutes we give free parking," he said.
