MK Should Disqualify Parties Related Election Dispute Case File

JAKARTA - Theft of the election dispute case file of Aceh Singkil district in the Constitutional Court (MK) led to allegations of sabotage and malicious of agreement of the parties in this regard.

The plaintiff's attorney regent and deputy regent Aceh Singkil number one candidate H. Safriadi-Sariman see their file theft is a crime that is a structured, systematic and massive, so that MK should not rely on normative matters as Article 158.

H. Safriadi-Sariman lawter team who consists of Samsudin SH, Dr. Firman Wijaya SH and Arco Ujung, SH, MH asserts, if there is evidence of an association of parties that has to do with the case then MK should disqualify related parties.

"We are asking MK to follow up cases and petitions to the next stage," said the H. Safriadi-Sariman lawyer, Arco Ujung, SH, MH in Jakarta, Monday (27/3).

Candidate legal team number one is also asking MK and the Jakarta Police sent completely the perpetrator and mastermind behind theft of that file.

"MK by judges who examine our request regarding disputes Aceh Singkil elections should proceed to trial evidence, because we think there are elements of sabotage and malicious of agreement of all parties," said Arco.

As known, Secretary General of MK itself has fired four employees for committing severe disciplinary file that is stealing the elections of Aceh Singkil.

Four people were fired for theft are the Head of Public Relations Sub-Section Rudy Haryanto, an employee named Sukirno and two security guards. Evidence of theft based on recordings of surveillance cameras in MK and MK carried out an internal investigation.

"The examination result is true, four people have been involved significantly. Therefore, the general secretary sacked four guys, which two of the guard. They have seen CCTV is the security senior, who early in the MK. Then both guard this job was secured there (space for file storage), but he took one document it. then the next one civil servant whose name Sukirno and then the next rank higher, he was Head of Public Relations, echelon four name Rudi Harianto," said Chief of MK, Arief Hidayat in Jakarta.

"The administration personnel were finished we do, then we have already reported this case to police to criminal proceedings," said Arief.

He continued, do not know the motives and interests of the theft of the election dispute case file of Aceh Singkil district.

"So this is the task of the police to investigate the motives and interests, until when no outsiders would be processed at the police," said Arief.
