Finally.. A Rafiq Message Fulfilled by Son and Daughter in Law

JAKARTA - During this time, public know Fahd El Fouz A Rafiq as a politician. But now, the second son one of Indonesian dangdut music legend's A Rafiq also plunge into the world of singing.

Yes... Fahd along with his wife, Ranny Meydiana now wrestle to dangdut music industry through their duet in recycling song belongs A Rafiq titled 'Cantik' and 'Pandangan Pertama'. In addition to duet on this album, there are 10 more recycling songs belonging A Rafiq.

"Before father (A. Rafiq) died, he was advised that we continue the ideals of music. My husband and I stripped message and finally decided duet," said Ranny in launching their debut album titled 'Cantik' in Jakarta, Friday (24/3).

A Rafiq, said Ranny, wanted the songs sung by her own family.

"He said if I and Fahd can go ahead and re-popularize his songs," said Ranny.

Fahd also confirmed it.

"I want to be a pious child, remember my father message. He said my voice was too distinctive, much like him, so should continue his ideals," said this 34-year old.

Fahd still remember during A Rafiq was alive. He had told him to sing in front of him.

"Every morning, we were told to get together to sing in front of father, even the father also waiting on recording," recalled Fahd.

Brother of Fairuz A Rafiq said, although now the era of modern music, but he will carry the classical Melayu music which characteristic of his father.

"We sing the song remains the same like 70-80's era, only more modern costumes are adapted with condition now. Hopefully the song can cure feeling of nostalgic fans of my father," hope Fahd.
