Soon, Jakarta Have Special Card for Merchant

JAKARTA - Traditional markets and social economy remains a concern Tjahaja Basuki Purnama (Ahok)-Djarot Saiful Hidayat ahead of second round of Jakarta elections.
Both has worked to develop the structuring of hawkers, food stalls as well as the empowerment of traditional markets.
As did Djarot see the development of food stalls from Tegal or familiar called Warteg. This afternoon, Djarot visited Warteg at Jalan Bakti Tanggul, Penjaringan, North Jakarta.
In front of residents and Warteg entrepreneurs, Djarot said it would organize merchants and empowering food stalls entrepreneurs through special card for merchant.
"We've worked together before with SMEs offices to issue special cards for merchants. Its like this, market traders and Warteg merchants, street vendors, there is a special card," said Djarot, Friday (17/3).
He have been working with DKI Bank to provide capital to the merchant. Traders will be divided into two categories, namely traders and merchants wet to dry.
"The card name is wet and dry merchants card," said Djarot.
Djarot said wet traders will get a green card. It includes traditional market traders who sell vegetables. While color cards for dry trader has not been determined.
"If the dry merchants, including warteg, it could have been later the color purple, orange, or red," he said.
Djarot said that already developed a roadside food stall-food stall. He calls this as a concrete step of his support to small-scale economy.
