JAKARTA - Having won Best Actress in mat of DOF International Film Festival on February 2016, now Natasha Dematra won another Best Actress. This time, Mountain Film Festival (MIFF) chose Natasha as winner of this category through the film I'm Star.
Festival that has stood for 10 years also states that Natasha made history as the first Asian actress who won the Best Actress in this prestigious festival. Acting of Natasha considered very touching and make people believe and become the reason why she was chosen from hundreds of actresses who contested the title.
"Winning the Best Actress on this festival is something that touches the heart. Once again, this proves that acting is not just using gestures or expressions, but also must pass from heart, "said Natasha in Jakarta, Wednesday (22/2).
I'm Star itself is film which directed and produced by Natasha's father, Damien Dematra played directly by teenagers with special needs in I'M STAR group band namely Arya, Abhy, Ervitha, and Shinta. This film carries a strong message that nothing is impossible.

Film which use English-language made with a social purpose which tells about the struggle of young people with autistic to be accepted in the community and attend regular school. It is appropriate regulation that would allow for Children with Special Needs (ABK) is acceptable and mingle in a regular school.
Recognition achieved I'M STAR films including; Grand Jury Award from the Colorado International Film Festival (Champion); Awards of Excellence in the category of long films (feature films) and the main female lead (leading actress) for Natasha Dematra as Mella.
Then, Awards of Merit in the directing category for Damien Dematra of Global Accolade Film Competition, California, USA; Gold Award for Natasha Dematra (as Mella) in the main female actor category and the Silver Award in the directing category for Damien Dematra of the International Independent Film Awards (IIFA) Los Angeles, USA.
In 2013, I'M STAR won three awards from Indie Fest (2013) in the USA, as long story best movie and best actress (Natasha Dematra) and best screenplay (Damien Dematra).
In Indonesia, I'M STAR selected as one of the films shown in the Unthinkable APEC Film Festival 2013 3-5 October 2013 to serve alongside other films from APEC countries.
The film also had played in exhibition movie MIPCOM in Cannes, France, and the American Film Market (AFM) in Los Angeles, USA in 2012 and brighten the teachers after playing in front of more than 10,000 teachers in DKI Jakarta from kindergarten level up to High School in May 2012 in Smesco Convention Hall.
