JAKARTA - In response reports in mass media about issue that Jakarta governor candidate, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) want to make the process of law to KH Ma'ruf Amin, members of Ahok-Djarot winning team, David Rahardja insists that is not true.
David also deplored the height of news which not true and caused 'disruption' a number of national figures, such as Yenny Wahid.
"Information that may be up to Yenny Wahid is the lack of proper information by the media," said David in Jakarta, Wednesday (1/2).
"I'm sure Yenny in personally very familiar with Ahok which very honoring religious figures. It would never have any intention Ahok to report Ma'ruf Amin," added David.
Meanwhile, Ahok lawyers, Humphrey R. Djemat clarifies the issues that call Ahok will report Ma'ruf Amin.
"Ahok statement who say, 'We will take legal the witnesses to prove that we have a very complete data ...' It was addressed to the complainant witnesses in past trial and not to Ma'ruf Amin," said Humphrey.
According to him, the two witnesses will process namely Muchsin Al Attas and Novel Bamukmin. Because, they allegedly gave false information. While Ma'ruf not reporting witness.
"So we may not want to report Ma'ruf Amin, as witnesses to explain a matter of MUI opinion. Ahok comments is general, and of course reporting and complainants witnesses handled to yhe legal team," said Humphrey.
He also regretted the person who pointed out that Ahok statement had been harassing integrity of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU).
"Certainly, our language is different when the context of our friendship with him, as Rois A'am NU. We hope public can understand the conditions in the trial yesterday," said Humphrey.
