LOS ANGELES - Stealthy, this producer and director of film 'Brush with Danger', is moderating at the Asian World Film Festival. The Asian World Film Festival is a prestigious film festival as they only screen films that are chosen by their respective countries to be submitted for the Oscars Foreign Language Film Category.
According to the film festival’s official website "films must be submitted for Oscars, or up for similar honors at the Golden Globes" in order to be selected for the festival.
The festival is screening twenty international films, which are specifically submitted for the Academy Awards Oscars, Foreign Language Film category in addition to the other 14 other films they are screening. This proves the festival’s world level competitiveness as each of the films being screened was specifically chosen by their respective countries.
Asian World Film Festival is sponsored by Sony Entertainment Television – Asia, Hollywood Foreign Press Association, Variety, and many more. Livi Zheng moderated film Redha that is representing Malaysia for the Oscars last week and 3000 Nights which this week, entry for the Oscars.
The festival will close with the screening of the film Operation Chromite, which is a South Korean film starring Liam Neeson as the lead character.
Previously, Livi Zheng had two feature films that received acclaim in the international film festival world, Legend of The East and The Empire’s Throne. Legend of the East is a story about the Ming Dynasty during its most historic period of conflict.
While it is common to have a story told from the kingdom's point of view, Legend of the East tells the story from an interesting point of view, which is through the life of a servant. Being a loyal servant of the Prince of the Ming Dynasty, he helps the prince to acquire his rightful throne. Legend of the East won Best Lead Actor in a Foreign Language Film and Best Supporting Actress in a Foreign Language Film.

The Empire’s Throne, another feature film produced by Livi Zheng, premiered at the Boston International Film Festival in 2014. This film is a colossal dramatic action film based on the story of the most powerful Empire in Southeast Asia. The Empire's Throne tells the story of the epic struggle for the throne of the kingdom. The Empire's Throne features over 600 cast members, stunning Southeast Asian sets, costumes, locations, and music.
