And former Manchester United goalkeeper, Peter Schmeichel claims Tom Heaton's save to deny Zlatan Ibrahimovic is one of the best in Premier League history.

The England international was forced to scramble across the face of his goal to the back post where the Swede acrobatically volleyed towards the near post.

Heaton stretched his arms and legs fully to deny a certain goal with the ball rebounding off his locked arm. Heaton earned Sean Dyche's side a crucial point, leading the legendary Danish goalkeeper to tout the Ibrahimovic save as one of the league's greatest.

"Tom Heatons save from Ibrahimovic is in my opinion one of the best in Premier League history. Just saying!" Schmeichel Tweeted.

Heaton himself picked it as his favourite from a string of saves to deny his former club and heap more misery on Jose Mourinho, who was sent to the stands by referee Mark Clattenburg.

"Probably the Ibrahimovic one in the second half," admitted Heaton to MUTV after the game.

"He's caught it really well. I've tried to close the space down and spread myself the best I can.

"Thankfully today it hit the end of the arm - it was a sore one on the elbow because it was fully extended but it never quite hurts as much when you keep it out."
