JAKARTA - After finding no involvement Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM) in the case of illegal kidney organ sales, Directorate General Crime (Tipidum), National Police Criminal Investigation is now concentrated pursuit of assets suspected kidney sellers. Police sought recovery losses suffered by victims.

"We concentrate on his money laundry. We chased by Article 130-132 that the victim is entitled to file restitution (refund). That's why we follow the money. The money received by actors that we follow what is in the form of savings or in the form of an asset," said Head of Sub Directorate Tipidum III, National Criminal Investigation Police, Commissioner Umar Surya Fana at National Police Headquarters (Mabes Polri), Jakarta, Monday (18/4).

Assets that, according to Umar, will be confiscated and handed over to the judge's decision later whether the victim is returned or not. In the investigation report (BAP), the victims said they demanded Rp 70-100 million.

"Seizure of asset is carried out on the assets by the judges will be calculated later. Let's say there are 10 assets, each of the victims asked for Rp 100 million. But the assets we only Rp 200 million, so that is divided into a victim," he continued.

As reported there are three suspects in the case. They have their respective functions. AG and DD, who also are victims in the past to look for victims, while HS liaise with the hospital.

For modus, HS received orders from the kidney recipient, she asked to AG and DD to search for victims. This event has been since January 2014-December 2015 ago. After obtaining the victim wants to buy a kidney, then taken to a clinic in Garut to be checked. After it was brought to the laboratory in Bandung, and then to a hospital in Jakarta.

HS, victims and kidney recipient see a doctor, a kidney specialist at the hospital in Jakarta with the results of the lab in Bandung. Kidney specialists and provide a letter of introduction to a hospital in Jakarta to do cross match or blood matching.

In Jakarta, victims do CT Scan renal, cardiac examination, lung, and psychiatrists. Once found eligible, the doctor determines the date of the operation. There must be consent of the family and a statement of the victim are all made HS for removal of a kidney. Kidneys priced is Rp 225-300 million, is outside the operating costs of Rp 100 million.

From hundreds millions rupiah, victim only received between Rp 70-90 million. But from the beginning, police states than kidney recipient would not be a suspect because as sick person, they are always trying to heal.
