Over the past few years, the business climate in the automotive sector, particularly in the field of large motors, experienced many obstacles, among others, namely:
The weakening of the rupiah against the US Dollar, which began in mid 2013 and continues up to now reaches approximately 40 percent.
The government policy of the Republic of Indonesia on tariff duties and taxes related to the importation and sale of large motors, among others:
a. PMK No. 175 / PMK.011 / 2013 of 22 import tariff increases income tax from 2.5 percent to 7.5 percent.
b. PP No. 22 of 2014 on the increase in luxury goods sales tax from 75 percent to 125 percent.
c. PMK No. 90 / PMK.03 / 2015 regarding the determination of income tax rates 22 Luxury Goods for large motorcycles with engine capacity above 500 cc from 0 percent to 5 percent.
d. PMK No. 132 / PMK.010 / 2015 concerning the increase of tariffs large motor from the original 30 percent to 40 percent.
Total taxes for the importation of large motors reached nearly 300 percent, excluding transfer tax etc. it.
The factors mentioned above have resulted in the market lethargy and a decrease in buying interest.

He asserted, PT Mabua Motor Indonesia will soon make clarifications related to the circulation of the letter.
"On 10 (next Wednesday) will be clarified. I've sent invitations to the media," said Djonnie.
