PERU - This picture has emerged of chaotic scenes at a bull running festival in Peru where at least eight people were injured.
As reported by SkyNews, it shows spectators running for cover and clambering on vehicles and buildings to avoid the animal as it charges amongst the crowd.
People can be seen surrounding the bull, taunting it and throwing clothing and other items. Screams as well as laughter can be heard as the bull runs amok, colliding with food stalls and injuring at least eight people. One person lying on the ground is dragged from the bull’s path.
The event took place in Huancavelica, Cusco province, where bulls are released into an open field as part of a four day religious festival.
