JAKARTA - The Ministry of Manpower (Kemennaker) recorded as many as 28 provinces have established provincial minimum wage (UMP) in 2016.
In a release sent the Ministry of Labor (Kemenaker), Director General of Industrial Relations (PHI) and Social Security (Jamsos) Kemennaker, Haiyani Rumondang explained, after performing calculations in each province, as many as 28 heads of regions have established UMP 2016.
"As of last night the existing 28 provinces that have established his UMP," he said.
Jakarta itself set for 2016 UMP Rp 3,100,000, up 14.81 percent of the UMP in 2015 amounted to Rp 2,700,000. UMP by Governor Regulation No. 230 in 2015 per October 30, 2015.
Meanwhile, West Java, set in 2016 UMP Rp Rp 2,250,000. UMP by Decree No. 561 / KEP.1244-BANGSOS / 2015 per 1 November 2015.
Then for Banten, 2016 UMP is set at Rp 1,784,000, up 11.5 percent from the UMP in 2015 amounted to Rp 1,600,000. UMP by Decree No. 561/474-HUK / 2015 per October 30, 2015.
