KINHASA - The incident occurred in the DRC's Mayibaridi district this morning, with authorities now preparing a rescue operation at the site of the catastrophe.According to Minister of Humanitarian Affairs Steve Mbikayi, 50 people died after a train derailed in Tanganyika province in the country's southeast. There is currently no information about the number of injured."On behalf of the Government of the Republic, I offer my condolences to the families of the victims", the minister wrote.
