JAKARTA - Wrapped in a conflict of volunteer romance while on duty in a conflict area in Middle East, religious drama film 'Bukan Cinta Malaikat' coming soon on Indonesian cinema screens.
Two Indonesian actors, Fachry Albar and Donita collaborating with two Malaysian actors, Nora Danish and Ashraff Muslim alternately portrayed love conflict between them.
This film is also a collaboration between Ganesa Perkasa Films with Malaysian production house, Ace Motion Pictures directed by Azis M.Oman (Malaysia) and Herdanius Larobu (Indonesia).
Telling about Reyhan (Fachri Albar), a volunteer from Bandung who is on duty in conflict areas in the Middle East. While in Medina, Reyhan helped a woman from Malaysia named Dewi (Nora Danish) who was traveling Umrah and was accidentally caught because it was mistaken for dark users.
Since that meeting, Reyhan is so idealistic with his humanitarian mission and has never expressed love to women. Feel seed of love in him, he puts the heart on Dewi. Reyhan went to Malaysia to express love and apply for Dewi.
However, Reyhan's love did not go smoothly. Dewi has had a lover named Adam (Ashraf Muslim). Meanwhile, in Bandung, Reyhan little friend named Aliyah (Donita), expecting love on Reyhan.
Trial after trial came and went. Reyhan's and Dewi household are on the verge of collapse because Adam considers the marriage of Reyhan and Dewi invalid. Reyhan who has met his love in the Holy Land, can only surrender fully, fate, love and his household to the Creator.
"Basic idea was from my experience as volunteer in several Middle Eastern countries. And Fachri lot deepening of from me," explains the director, Aziz on Monday (10/7).
The film takes pictures in several locations in Mecca, Medina, Trengganu (Malaysia), and Bandung.
"After running in Indonesia, this film will be aired in Malaysia. We choose Trengganu as a starting place aired in Malaysia," said Aziz.
