JAKARTA - After set suspect status, Jakarta Police have issued an arrest warrant against the leader of the Islam Defenders Front (FPI), Rizieq Shihab in a pornography case on Monday (29/5).

"Police will visit suspects house for search of him," Jakarta Police spokesperson, Senior Commissioner Argo Yuwono stated on Tuesday (30/5).

The police will also visit the immigration office to inquire and seek information on Rizieq Shihab. Police will use the immigration data as a basis for placing suspect Shihab on its most wanted list.

"Those steps are currently being applied," he said.

The Jakarta Police will issue a notification letter to the prosecutors office to start an investigation.

According to him, police will coordinate with the International Relations Division of National Police Headquarters in making his arrest considering location of Rizieq is currently still in Saudi Arabia.

In fact, added Argo, if Rizieq did not come home after suspect status, police will include it as Wanted List (DPO). Then, police will issue a red notice because of Rizieq's attitude in the case which is not cooperative.

"We also make a DPO if he not returned, then we issue a red notice, we must complete the requirements," he said.

He affirmed that the investigators have collected sufficient evidence to name Shihab a suspect, including the Whatsapp chat logs between two people, allegedly Shihab and Firza Husein, the woman he is suspected of having an affair with.
