JAKARTA - Attitude of Vice Chairman House of Representive (DPR), Fahri Hamzah chaired a plenary session yesterday protested by board members. The protests even came from his own fraction.
Fahri is considered to ignore the protests from the participants of the plenary meeting which refused to pass the use of the right of inquiry for Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
Chairman of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) faction in the House of Representatives, Jazuli Juwaini said, as the leader of the plenary meeting, Fahri should be wise. Chairman of the meeting, he said, should be willing to hear the voices of the meeting participants thoroughly, at least representatives of all the fractions complete and intact before the decision.
"If you want to take a decision without hearing the voices of the participants of meeting, it's better to decide alone in room itself, do not need to use the meeting. It's important because involves ethics leading the meeting," said Jazuli on Saturday (29/4).
He asserted, in the plenary session yesterday, PKS faction has not been given an opportunity to convey its attitude whether to reject or support the use of the right of inquiry.
However, he regretted Fahri's attitude as the chairman of the meeting directly knocked the hammer of sign the agreement of the right of inquiry.
"What did Fahri Hamzah do not represent the attitude of DPP and PKS faction," said this Fahri's colleague.
