WARSAWA - Naked pictures of this Wimbledon number three seed Agnieska Radwanska stoked a long-running feud with her tennis coach father.
The star's mother revealed, Agnieszka (27) took part in the risque photoshoot in an apparent act of rebellion because Robert Radwanski had left her mother for another woman.
Now Marta Radwanska has claimed her daughter had had enough of Robert's strict, demanding regime, that he refused to let his daughters have a boyfriend - and that she found the controversial naked images 'in good taste'.
"(Robert) was very strict and demanding. He shouted at her on the courts and would always get angry," Marta (49) told to MailOnline:
"He didn't want her to have a boyfriend and wanted her to get married as late as possible so it wouldn't interfere with her tennis career. Eventually, she had enough. There were many controversies about her naked pics, but honestly they didn't uncover much," she said.
"She thought about it for a long time and when she showed me the photos of other athletes who had been in the magazine I realised that it was prestigious and in good taste so told her to go ahead with it. Her father wasn't happy," added Martha
Radwanska, who plays Ukrainian Kateryna Kozlova at Wimbledon today, dumped her tennis coach father in late 2011 and went on to enjoy success with Tomasz Wiktorowski, Poland's Fed Cup captain.
She made a veiled reference to the problems she had with her father in an interview in 2012, paying tribute to his commitment but revealing they had personal issues she could not overcome.
