JAKARTA - Time and place of phase III executions is still unclear. Attorney General, HM Prasetyo still not willing to disclose when the conduct of the execution. Attorney General's Office (AGO) said is still projecting the timing of implementation.
"If the decision has been given, there is nothing left. We still have time to project implementation (execution)," said Attorney General, HM Prasetyo, Friday (29/4).
The Attorney General also dismissed the issue stating entire death row inmate who entered the execution has been moved to prisons Nusakambangan, Cilacap, Central Java.
"I never said that (on death row have been collected in reclaiming). I'm just saying that reclaiming the ideal place for executions," said Prasetyo.
Prasetyo explained, the existence of Brimob troops around Nusakambangan prison does not mean time executions carried out in the near future.
"Brimob for security. No execution was, they (Brimob troops) there. So of course there is nothing extraordinary," "said Prasetyo.
Chief of Central Java Police, Inspector General Condro Kirono also could not confirm the schedule and place of execution because not received orders from the AGO.
"We still ready, stay time of day. Perhaps, previously chief of Central Java police already co-ordination. I just continue," said Condro.
As is known, in the past few days later, a number of Brimob troops appear to have been alerted around Nusakambangan prison. In fact, Central Java police chief saw the readiness of its troops in the area.
In the phase III executions, mentioned there will be 14 people on death row who will face the firing squad team. Of the 14 death row inmates, four of whom are Indonesian citizens. The rest, a drug lord foreign nationals. But Philippines death row inmate drug, Mary Jane is not included in the list of the execution.
Police officers have prepared some firing squad to execute death row inmates in drug cases. The police officer has also set up several security personnel for the execution.
