KCIC Not Ordered Any Activity Around Halim Perdanakusuma Airfield

JAKARTA - After arrest of five Chinese citizens, while working on projects around the Air Force base at Halim Perdanakusuma, East Jakarta, recently, PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) provide clarification.
President Director of PT KCIC, Hanggoro Budi Wiryawan said, in the framework of the development process fast train from Jakarta to Bandung, now that he had not ordered any activity around Halim Perdanakusuma airfield.
"KCIC and or PT.Wijaya Karya (Wika) did not sign a contract with PT Geo Central Mining (CGM) in the area around Halim Perdanakusuma airfield.
"KCIC and or PT.Wijaya Karya (Wika) did not sign a contract with PT.Geo Central Mining (CGM) in the area of Halim, which employs a staff of Chinese nationality, who conducted a survey and drilling to take soil samples in order to build a fast train," said Hanggoro in a statement on Thursday (28/4).
Hanggoro explained in soil investigation work in the area of ??Halim, PT KCIC perform contractual commitments with PT HEBEI. And so far, it ordered the company to carry out activities in the area Halim.
"KCIC has collaborated with The Third Railway Survey and Design Institute Group Corporation (TDSI), which will control all activities related to the preparation of engineering design fast train from Jakarta to Bandung," he explained.
Previously reported, five Chinese citizens and two citizens of Indonesia, the Air Force was arrested for activities in the military area the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Tuesday (26/4).
Over the incident, the Air Force Chief Information Office, Air Commodore Wieko Sofyan, said the arrests were made because they do not have permission.
"They do not permit the inclusion of the air base," said Wieko as confirmed on Wednesday (27/4).
Transport Minister, Ignatius Jonan admitted that development projects fast train from Jakarta to Bandung around Halim Perdanakusuma air base has not been licensed. He said that it was necessary land use permits issued soon.
"If for a construction permit in Halim has not existed until now. One of the most important requirements is tenure, would lease, grant, or assignment, should be there. It permits his security clearance in the military, not in me, "said Transportation Minister Ignatius Jonan at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday (27/4).
"We will not permit the construction of the scolds because the process is definitely considered because there is no security clearance if in the military area," said Jonan.
Fifth Chinese citizens were later handed over to the East Jakarta Immigration Office, and from the initial examination found to have violated the immigration rules because they can not show the immigration official documents.
Fifth China citizen was accompanied by two Indonesian citizens and visible are conducting land drilling in the Cipinang Melayu or near Jakarta-Cikampek toll road which is right behind the Battalion 461 Paskhas Air Force.
From initial inspection of fifth China's citizen respectively namely, Guo Lin Zhong (27), as holer and administration; Wang June (29), as the administration and researchers; Zhu Huafeng (48), engineer; Cheng Qianwu (49), engineer; Xie Wuming (41), engineer.
