JAKARTA - In order to build sports skills and social interaction for the students, also for celebrate 10 years of its establishment, the group Singapore International School (SIS) held SIS Olymipics 2016 in 6-9 April 2016.
Interestingly, in this event, the theme from atmosphere of the Brazil World Olympic which will be held in 2016. Nine sports was held for four days and followed 7,000 students from eight schools in SIS Indonesia.
"Not only academic skills, but physical ability also we have noticed in the SIS. At the same time we try introduce new things to our students," said Oliver Andeson, CEO SIS Indonesia, recently.
He added, in this event are also invited two national athletes, Susi Susanti and Alan Budikusuma. Both of them delivers medals to the winners.
"Our school also encourages students to have the ability in sports. If our students have the academic and sporting achievement, we provide scholarships. We have fee discount and there are free everything, on the cover," added Anderson.
In this event a festive look also indicated participants and parents are very enthusiastic to give support to they children who participated. They are willing come to GOR Rawamangun from 06.00 pm until about 15:00 pm to participate in athleticsand SIS Olympics 2016 closing ceremony.
