Two Terrorists Shoted in Poso is Chinese Citizens

POSO - Two terrorists of the Santoso-led mujahideen group, who had been shot dead in Napu, Poso regency, were foreigners.
Central Sulawesi Police Chief, Brig.Gen. Rudy Sufahriadi stated, two terrorists, identified as Nuretin alias Abdul and Magalasi Bahtusan alias Farok, were of Uigur ethnicity and came from Sinjang province of China. The bodies of both terrorists were transported to the Bhayangkara public hospital in Palu for identification.
As part of the identification process, the police have involved Zaelani, one of the members of the Santoso-led terrorist group, who had been caught alive during an earlier security operation. After the deaths of Farok and Nuretin, the police have estimated that four other foreigners of Santosos group were still hiding in the forest. All of them are believed to be the residents of Uighur, China.
According to Zaelani, people from China have been joining the terrorist group since 2015. There has been no clear information on their role in the group.
"We would obtain detailed information on their role as soon as we arrest Santoso, the leader of the group," Chief Rudy remarked on Wednesday.
Foreigners had joined the terrorist group, presumably after Santoso made an announcement on social media, calling all Indonesians to join him in the fight to help ISIS by participating in a training in Posos forests.
As is known, the crossfire between the military-police joint forces with a group Santoso occurred at 07.30 pm in the mountain forests around one kilometer from the village Talabosa, District Central Lore.
Two terrorists were shot dead in a gunfight that occurred on Tuesday (March 15) at around 7 a.m. local time. The police also recovered evidence on the scene, including 10 bombs, three backpacks, five sacks of logistics, seven maps, and a task management logbook of the members.
Tinombala operations which began on January 10 that has so far killed at least six members of the terrorist group Santoso. While in the security forces, had two police members who died that one person was shot in Sangginora village, Poso Pesisir Selatan and one died of illness while on patrol in theforest at Pesisir Selatan.
