Surrendered, Labora Sitorus Arrive in Cipinang

JAKARTA - Had fled and escaped from police siege for transferred to the Correctional Institution (LP) Cipinang, convicted of money laundering and illegal logging, Labora Sitorus finally came and surrendered to Police Sorong, West Papua around 03.00 this morning.
West Papua Regional Police Chief, Brigadier General Royke Lumowa said Labora will be brought to Jakarta at 12:15 local time and handed over to the Cipinang prison.
"We handover the administration process of regional offices to the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, and taken to jail in Jakarta," said Royke, Monday (7/3).
Labora said Royke, came to the police station Sorong alone unaccompanied by anyone.
"True, Labora surrendered. He pressed and famine, may not have money. All corners of the possibility he went to, right, already we are closed, " he explained.
Previously, the escort members of the Mobile Brigade of Kelapa Dua, Jakarta, Labora was giving a statement to investigators in the Police Sorong.
From his testimony it was revealed that since fled their home in Kampung Charcoal, Friday (4/3), Labora was hiding in two different locations to avoid arrest. One location being the hiding place is Kampung Boweser, Sorong.
Labora refused executed because he had received a letter of release. After conducting an investigation, the Police Headquarters block his 60 account. The account is in the name partly Labora Sitorus, partly not in his name.
Earlier, residents around the house Labora Sitorus suspect, convicted cases of illegal logging and money laundering are hiding in the cellar in the area of PT Rotua, Tampa village, Sorong.
Anjas (34), residents around PT Rotua in Tampa village, Sorong said Labora would not run anywhere.
"We suspect Labora Sitorus hiding in the basement in the area of PT Rotua because he had promised to live and die in that place, not going anywhere," said Anjas.
Anjas added, Labora also had threatened suicide if executed Prison City moved from Sorong to Jakarta's Cipinang Prison.
Prison head Sorong, Maliki gave separate statements claimed to have been combed in PT Rotua, but did not find signs of the basement of the suspected local residents.

Papua High Court declared Labora convicted of money laundering. By the Supreme Court (MA) verdict Labora coupled to 15 years.
