Jusuf Kalla: Not Yet Time For Cabinet Reshuffle

JAKARTA - Vice President Jusuf Kalla has said it is not yet time for the government to announce the second cabinet reshuffling.
"The government is still busy. The president and I will go abroad. Besides, the time for simultaneous regional elections is getting closer, so this is no time to reshuffle cabinet," Kalla remarked here on Friday (13/11/2015).
Cabinet reshuffle plans also became one of the subjects of discussion in a closed-door meeting among President Joko Widodo, Vice President Jusuf Kalla, and the officials of government supporting the party on Thursday (12/11/2015) night.
"The meeting of the government supporting party with the president and myself is a routine. We talked about political matters, the matter of cabinet reshuffling was also part of the talks, but the president said it was not yet time to do so," Kalla noted.
On Thursday night, Widodo and Kalla held a closed meeting with the leaders of the Indonesia Great Coalition party (KIH) at the Presidential Palace.
During the meeting, the Vice President said they only discussed the conditions of the current administration, including the economy, politics, and international relations.
The vice president said the name of Koalisi Indonesia Hebat (KIH), or the Indonesia Great Coalition, remains unchanged, but has changed its stance to become a government-supporting party.
"The KIH did not change its name, but changed its position to become a government-supporting party," the vice president stated at the Shangri-La Hotel here on Friday.
